Expo Ecommerce España
Not much time left! On 21 and 22 March we will be presenting and exhibiting at the Expo Ecommerce España, and we intend to do it in style.
Expo Ecommerce (alongside Online Marketing Expo: OME) is running for its third year in the city, and is now regarded as one of the most important events in the calendar. Last year we were there and formed part of a round table discussion on the "future vision for ecommerce" (link in Spanish).
This year we have decided to go big.
We will exhibit from a large stand (724) where will be promoting and demonstrating the new design of our main product SearchBroker 2.0, an innovative an innovative search engine and analytics tool built to maximize search conversion rates. On top of this, we will deliver two presentations covering the: The Empathy Project and Searchandising.
In this post, we present the first of these "The Empathy Project."
It will be delivered by Ángel Maldonado, Director of Colbenson, and will take place on 21st at 10.40 in Room 9:
The Empathy Project: using social media to predict the future
The Empathy Project is an innovative research project by Colbenson which is investigating ways to mine the incredibly rich source of data in Twitter to improve our customer insight. The project began in 2008, looking at ways to anticipate Twitter trends to inform Spain's Basque Country regional government what was being said in real-time in and around the Basque region. Since then, the project has expanded into other sectors, looking at ways to take advantage of the great opportunity the Twitter revolution presents to business.
- The unique opportunity that Twitter offers to business
- How Twitter can help us build knowledge and understanding of our customers
- How Twitter can help us anticipate future demand
- How can we take advantage of this opportunity to add value to our business
- How we are using this to build empathy into online service delivery
We'll introduce the second presentation next week. I hope you come to see us!
